Björn Thiemann

My name is Björn Thiemann, I am 31 years old and live in Berlin.

My goal is to collect at least 1€ donation per kilometre driven until the beginning of the tour. Please support me, no matter how small the amount may be.

My great passion is motorcycling and so last year it took me to the Intermot in Cologne, where I heard about fundriding for the first time.

I had been thinking about how to combine the fun of two-wheelers with a good cause for quite some time. Irene and Katharina from the HeelsOnWheels fascinated me with their reports about their participation in the Cambodia tour. So I applied and only a few months later and after the first and second contact with Roland and Nadine I received the message: “[…] we would be very happy if you would join us”.

But actually … this is not about me at all! Actually … it’s about the people for whom the most vital things like clean water, food or hygiene are not self-evident.

This initiative is a great way to do good and the motivation for doing so is all the greater when you know that a donation really reaches the people who need it. I will be able to check this myself on site and document it for you. We will travel with the locally usual large wheel scooters for about 1,300 km across the country to get a direct impression of the living conditions of the people and the projects of the Kleine Hilfsaktion e.V..

You have the possibility to donate km-related (e.g. 0,01€/km x 1.300km 13€) or a fixed amount km-independently. You will receive a receipt for your donation and can claim it for tax purposes.

The proceeds go 100% to the local people, I bear the costs for the trip myself.
