I am sitting in our cosy garden in the heart of Bad Tölz, love extraordinary cars and motorcycles, the art of tattooing, my spirit of enterprise and recently turned 30. Time for something new. And so I think about how and where I could become socially involved again, apply to Roland, as I have been enthusiastically riding motorcycles myself for a year - and am already a participant of the Fundriding Tour 12/2018!
Awesome! My head full of cross-firing thoughts of anticipation, excitement, zest for action, and also positive nervousness – how do I now manage to inspire as many social activists as possible for this great thing?
I don't how know yet - that I will make it, is sure!! By that I don’t mean that you have a look at the fundriding page and tell your friends, families and acquaintances how great you think it is. Tell everybody, absolutely everyone! And then become an active part of this wonderful project!
What I thought when I first heard oft he organizations and ist projects 2 years ago? I probably had the exact same thoughts on my mind that you have now - another aid organization that needs donations. How do I know where my money goes? How much money really arrives? Why exactly should I donate to them?
All these questions were answered quickly: My husband was a participant in the first tour in 2016 and I heard about the travel preparations and sponsorship acquisition and met the initiator, Roland Debschütz, at a joint meeting. And well, what can I say - detailed first-hand information opened my eyes and I was able to throw my doubts overboard for a good cause. Especially as each participant bears his own travel expenses, flight, accommodation, meals. And fuel costs for the scooters.
That I will participate in the tour in December 2018 is really great! I promise I'll do an extra lap or two at every roundabout so that something comes together on my speedometer in kilometres!
And if you become my mileage sponsors, your help to the local people will be worth as much as you could ever dream of!
