During the last school festival, students at Hansa Gymnasium in Cologne raised €1,571.45. The student council decided to invest this money in a WASH project run by Kleine Hilfsaktion in Cambodia. The Cologne students hope that this initiative will lead to a school partnership in the future. Yesterday evening, we presented the idea to the school management in Kandieng and were met with open arms. In a joint video conference, the students of both schools will discuss the content and structure of the partnership in the near future. Roland Debschütz explains the situation on site.

Since 2013, Kleine Hilfsaktion has been running the school with around 200 students and five teachers. After our arrival in the late afternoon, there is no longer any chance of lessons taking place. The kids are happy to see Roland Debschütz again, who organized a big school party with the last Fundriding group in December. This time there is no party, but still a boisterous atmosphere with all kinds of nonsense.
