The day began in an almost indescribably beautiful setting. We spent the night in a clearing in the middle of the rainforest, surrounded by coffee plantations that are surprisingly located between, under, and around the ancient trees. This special coffee carries the coveted Rainforest Alliance certificate—a treat you can enjoy with a clear conscience. The wildlife, including elephants, tigers, and king cobras, deliberately keeps its distance from humans, so there is virtually no danger. Particularly impressive was an 890-year-old mango tree with a swing leading over a small slope – this alone makes the trip worthwhile.
Today's section of our motorcycle adventure tour took us through breathtaking rainforest landscapes and along the most beautiful coffee plantations. The roads were in excellent condition, lined with countless curves and characterized by short passages through small towns and larger villages with varying amounts of traffic. It is noteworthy that we did not have a single unpleasant encounter on the fourth day of this test tour. Only the special overtaking manner of the Indians, which still needs to be explained to the Fundriders, remains a topic for later – this much can be revealed: the most courageous and reckless drivers with ADAS here are the bus drivers. Unbelievable! The beauty and experience of this trip are difficult to put into words. Best regards from afar!
