After spending the night in a truly idyllic location, we set off for Madikeri. I remember Madikeri from the outward journey and recall the impressive surroundings—some of the most beautiful of the entire tour. Nestled in the rainforest, coffee is grown here under the tree canopy and is mainly exported to Europe.

With a few exceptions, the 140 km to Madikeri offered excellent road conditions and high grip levels. However, the Relive video shows 179 km – this includes an additional 40 km that we covered for Sanna's film shoot.

Another highlight of the day was a visit to an NGO that specializes in identifying people with disabilities in remote regions. They have already distributed over 1,000 wheelchairs and walkers and could become a promising partner for wheelchair deliveries during the Real Tour.

Setting up the infrastructure for our Fundriding projects is an essential but also complex part of our journey. From November 19, when testing of the route options is complete, our focus will shift to the specific project work of the Fundriders, the wheelchair handover, and the big tour project. We are full of anticipation and will of course report back when we are back in Germany.

One thing is already clear, however: the enthusiasm is clearly visible in all of us—Udo, Markus, Sanna, and me. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the three of them. With their advice, personal impressions, and great commitment, they always supported me in my decisions. Thank you very much!
