Hello dear Frog Class 🐸💚
Fritz here, writing to you from Bangkok!

Quack!
I'm reporting from Bangkok, a huge city with so many cars, boats, skyscrapers, and people that it almost makes me dizzy. But before I come home to you again, I wanted to tell you what I've been up to over the last three weeks.

Because I traveled over 1,500 kilometers through Cambodia with Anja on a motor scooter. Anja was a great driver, but believe me: for a little stuffed frog, that's pretty exhausting!

🛵 On the road on a scooter

I sat in front, in back, sometimes in a backpack, and sometimes tucked tightly under Anja's arm. We drove through cities, along dusty roads, through mountains, and along rivers. It was often hot—really hot! 🌞

In the end, I was covered in dust, a little exhausted, very tired, and my left button eye is hanging crookedly 🙈.

I urgently need: 🛁 a bath, 🛌 lots of rest, 🧵 and maybe a new eye.

🌴 Everything I've seen

I've seen so many things that I really want to tell you about:

colorful markets
huge mountains
small villages
People who live on the water
Children laughing, dancing, and singing
and lots and lots of scooters (really LOTS!)

I even visited Buddhist monks—and you know what? 👉 They blessed me! Now I am an officially blessed frog 🐸✨

❤️ Why we were on the road – and what fundriding is

Anja and the other Fundriders weren't just traveling. They were doing something called Fundriding.

Fundriding means:
👉 being on the move AND helping others

Before setting off on their journey, the Fundriders collected money. Not for themselves, but for people who are less fortunate. They then took this aid directly to the people in need.

I saw:

elderly people who can no longer walk and are given a wheelchair
Families who have hardly anything to eat
Children who want to go to school but need help

Sometimes I noticed that Anja became very quiet. Then I knew: this is very serious right now. But I also saw that helping others can make people happy —both those who receive help and those who give it.

🏫 My favorite celebration: school in Kandieng

The school festival in Kandieng was particularly enjoyable. The children danced for us— Apsara dances, very elegant. They sang, laughed, and at the end we all danced together.

And then we released sky lanterns 🌌. For wishes. For hope. For the future.

That's when I thought: 👉 School isn't just about learning—school is also about community.

🦇 An evening with millions of bats

One evening, we visited a temple on a rock. It is called Phnom Sampov. From the top, you could see for miles.

And then... millions of bats flew out of a cave! So many that the sky turned black. I watched in complete silence (which is rare for me).

🏛️ Finally: Angkor Wat & large temples

At the end of the trip, we were in Siem Reap. I saw huge temples there:

Angkor Wat
Ta Prohm (with trees growing on the walls!)
Bayon with many stone faces

I think even frogs can be amazed. I certainly am.

🐸😳 One important thing to note at the end (for frogs!)

Now I have to tell you something important: there are lots of delicious things to eat in Cambodia. But sometimes... 👉 they also grill and eat frogs there. Yes , really. On skewers. Over the fire.

So I wasn't just tired, I was also very brave 😅! Luckily, I was always with Anja—and not on the grill!
