For many years, I, Dirk Brinkmann, have supported the association Kleine Hilfsaktion e.V., an organization founded by my friend Roland Debschütz. What began as a small idea has since helped more than 75,000 people in need, primarily in Cambodia, India, and Pakistan, but also in Tanzania and other countries. For this extraordinary commitment, Roland was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit in 2020—and quite rightly so.

In 2023, I had the opportunity to join my daughter Kira on the first combined Fundriding Tour through Laos and Cambodia. What we experienced there moved us deeply—the projects, the local people, the trust, and the direct aid that reaches people without any detours. I saw what is possible when you take action instead of just talking, and how much even small contributions can make a difference.

That experience has stayed with us ever since. That’s why we’ll be participating in the Fundriding Tour again in 2027—this time on the tour that focuses exclusively on Cambodia, the “Cambodia Classic.” We want to help, support, and make a difference.
