That was 2018 – not sooooo long ago, but still a small eternity, because in the meantime nothing seems to be as it was. We have all noticed how fragile our environment, our society, our lives can be.
I was able to see with my own eyes how, with relatively simple means, the lives of the children in Cambodia and thus of the whole families have become a little bit easier and more worth living. We were all impressed by the support of the Small Relief Action together with local partners, and never was I more aware of how well off we really are.
Unforgotten are the happy eyes, the carefree laughter of the children who not only had the good fortune to go to a school, but to a school equipped with clean water and toilets. We take it so much for granted that we don’t think about it.
Once again, I would like to support the actions of the small relief campaign with every kilometre I ride and I would be happy if you share my trust in these relief actions and become my sponsor for the tour.
Of course, I will cover my own travel costs, so that every cent sponsored will benefit the people in Cambodia.
