Dear sponsors, supporters and friends of the Fundridung Action 2020 in Laos.

My name is Heinrich Wolff, I am 64 years old and live in Dormagen. In my spare time I spend a lot of time in the great outdoors and among other things I love to cycle. For more than 30 years I have been doing river tours by bike 1-2 times a year (from the source to the mouth or vice versa). I have already travelled over 45 rivers. Some of them go beyond our borders.

By a lucky coincidence I got to know Roland Debschütz and his work at the Kleine Hilfsaktion e.V. years ago. I was present at the presentation of the Cambodia Tour 2017 and was enthusiastic and fascinated. It is very impressive for me how sensibly donations are handled. Direct and immediate help for people in need – I immediately liked that.

What could be better than to help directly on the spot, to talk to those affected, to see which projects can be set into motion? The best thing is when you can experience the joy of the people directly and have the opportunity to get to know the country and its people in a probably unique way and make a meaningful contribution at the same time.

When the Laos Tour 2020 offered me the opportunity to embark on an exciting and formative journey and at the same time help the local people quickly and unbureaucratically, it was clear that I wanted to be part of it and the decision to apply was made quickly. And then with these benefits, no mass tourism, small groups accompanied by local experts on 125cc scooters, approx. 1,500 kilometres through Laos – what a wonderful adventure!

I ask you to support me as a KM sponsor and thus help the Kleine Hilfsaktion e.V.! Like all other participants, I have committed myself to win sponsors for at least 1 Euro for every kilometre driven. I am happy about any support, no matter how small it may be.

Since actions count more than words, I joined the Kleinen Hilfsaktion e.V. this year and donate annually through my membership to support the projects. If you also want to put a smile on the face of a child – please help me to reach the minimum amount of 1€ per kilometre for the Laos tour.

Of course, it goes without saying that all costs arising from this undertaking will be borne by myself (flights, accommodation, food, fuel and scooter rental, etc.).
