Characteristics

Dear Sponsors,
My name is Jörg Hausotter, and I live with my family in Neuss am Rhein. I’m 57 years old, fairly sporty, and work internationally. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, our dog, and horse, and I love taking my BMW GS or my Kreidler Florett (built in 1963) out for a ride. Volunteering isn’t new to me—my wife does it professionally, and I’ve been involved in various ways privately over the years. My friend Rudi introduced me to “Kleine Hilfsaktion e.V.,” and we were both immediately impressed by its mission.
Back when I worked in Southeast Asia, I spent time in Indonesia, Bangladesh, Thailand, and Malaysia, where I got to know the people living in poverty, far from the tourist hotspots. Roland and Nadine’s initiative really struck a chord with me and reawakened my long-held wish to do something meaningful for others.
What makes me especially happy is that, thanks to “Kleine Hilfsaktion e.V.,” we can help people in Cambodia directly and effectively on the ground. The fact that I get to explore the country and its people on two wheels while doing this makes it even more exciting!
Of course, I’m paying for the trip myself.
But I need your help to make the “Fundriding” idea a success!
The trip is for a good cause: Every kilometer I ride raises money for “Kleine Hilfsaktion e.V.” and helps people in need in Cambodia. You can support me either with a fixed donation or by pledging a few cents per kilometer. For example: One cent per kilometer equals €15 for 1500 kilometers. If 100 sponsors each pledge one cent per kilometer, that’s €1500 in donations for the ride!
Of course, you’re welcome to support me and “Kleine Hilfsaktion e.V.” with a higher amount or a one-time donation as well.
Thank you in advance for your generosity. I really appreciate your support!
Best regards,
Jörg
