Hi,
My name is Lutz Martini, I am 62 years young, married, 3 sons, 3 times grandpa (boys, because we can’t get girls) and live in Willich (Schiefenbahn).
I professionally manage the payment processing in the financial accounting of the city of Krefeld.
I have been very connected to the “kleine Hilfsaktion”, since the beginning of 2012, together with my family.
In November 2011, I travelled through Asia with my wife as a backpacker, including Cambodia. The impressions collected there have left deep traces. There were not only positive but also a lot of negative things to see. The visit of an orphanage and school, as well as of the “Killing Fields”, impressed us very much, additionally the friendliness of the people, despite their poverty. Afterwards, we took a closer look at the history of Cambodia – Pol Pot – and can now understand how a rich and prosperous country became a poor and destroyed country, for which the construction is taking decades.
After our return we had thought about how to help the people in Cambodia in an efficient way. During search for a suitable charity organization, we came across the “kleine Hilfsaktion” project. The information we received from Roland quickly convinced us, and so our family entered as members. This was the correct place to be.
In the meantime, we had also supported a student and visited him in January 2015 (great). But sincere thought this wasn’t enough, my wife and I decided that I would join the next Fundriding-tour and then collectively sponsor funds for the “kleine Hilfsaktion”.
As a guideline, sponsorship fees of at least € 1.00 are to be collected for each kilometer (a total of 1,000), which should be surpassed. From € 0.01 you can join in, the more the better. So come on and don’t be afraid, the more donations come together, the more people can receive help. A donation certificate is also available.
So that no one gets the wrong idea, the Fundriding tour is, of course, payed from my own pocket.
