Hi everyone,
I’m Margit, and when it comes to Fundriding, I’m officially a repeat offender! This will actually be my third tour with and for Kleine Hilfsaktion e.V.. In my last introduction, I wrote that what started as a “once in a lifetime” experience turned into a true passion project. And the fact that I’m joining for the third time only reinforces my commitment.
But this isn’t about me. It’s about people like the incredible woman you see in the picture above. She is the reason why we do this.
We met her during our last tour in a small village in Cambodia, and the conditions she lived in were beyond devastating. She had no running water, no electricity, and not even a proper floor—just a makeshift hut held together with cardboard and rope. Unfortunately, this is not an exception. But what I love about Kleine Hilfsaktion e.V. is that they act immediately—no red tape, no delays, just help where it’s needed most.
I recently got an update on her situation, and it’s amazing what a small amount of support can achieve. She now has a stable hut with a proper roof, rain gutters, electricity, and water storage containers—small changes that have completely transformed her life.
And that’s why I’m here again. That’s why I need your help.
Every single donation makes a difference! Kilometer Sponsoring starts at just 1 cent per kilometer = €15. You can also donate any fixed amount—whatever feels right for you. My goal is to raise at least €1 per kilometer, which adds up to €1,500. We’ve done it before, and I know we can do it again—together!
