Hello, I am Margit and when the chance came to support projects of Kleine Hilfsaktion e.V. by fundriding through Cambodia, it didn’t take me two minutes to accept. I was able to live my great passion for Asia not only during my 2 ½ years in Vietnam, but most recently also during a 4-month sabbatical with an organisation in Siem Reap/Cambodia. It was always important to me to give something back to the local people who accompanied and supported me during all my trips and stays.
Fundriding offers the perfect setting for this. I travel almost 1,300 kilometres through Cambodia on a moped, which for me is the best way to get to know the country up close and as authentically as possible.
But since the whole thing will not be just a „normal“ trip, I need your help. The goal of all participants is to collect 1 Euro for every kilometre driven in order to support various projects in the country. No matter if you contribute 1 cent (= 13,–EUR), 2 cents (=26,– EUR), 3 cents (=39,–EUR) or even more per kilometre, the scale upwards is open and if it becomes more, so much the better. Of course, a fixed amount is also possible. If you wish, you will receive updates during and after the trip about how and for what the money is used.
It goes without saying, but I would like to point out that all costs for the trip (flight, accommodation, food, etc.) are paid privately by me. Every euro collected goes immediately and without deductions to a local project. For your support, you will of course receive a tax-deductible donation receipt from „Kleinen Hilfsaktion e.V.“.
