Hello everybody,
My name is Susanne (Susi) Kießler and I am 55 years-old, I am married and we have a grown-up daughter.
In my daily life, I take care of the administration in my husband’s office.
Otherwise, I like to ride a bike, go sailing, skiing and generally spend much time in nature.
My first contact with the project was actually through my husband Peter, who came back from the racing track in 2012 where he met Roland and told us about his engagement in Cambodia.
Some time later, I saw the photos of the project Eye-Light.
Since my whole family is dependent on glasses, I thought the idea to collect old glasses here in Germany, to help the people in Cambodia with them is genius. But also the many other projects, which are supported by the “Kleine Hilfsaktion e.V.”, which are so self-evident to us Europeans, I thought were simply great.
When the flyer about fundriding lay on our desk, we really didn’t have to think very long.
We haven’t done a lot of long-distance trips, since an independent person is usually never away more than 10 days.
But if not now when then, so the decision to apply was quickly made.
And then in this way, no mass tourism, small groups accompanied by local people on 125 scooters. We will drive about 1000 – 1200 km through the country and now I have to find sponsors who support me per km. The smallest donation is € 0.01, but the more the better. The default I have to meet is € 1,00 / km.
Each participant is 100% responsible for the trips expenses and a donation receipt is also available for the KM sponsors.
The donations arrive on site 1: 1 as well.
I would be very happy if I could give you a little enthusiasm for you to support me with this project.
I’m already saying thank you
Your Susi
