Hello, my name is Dirk Boerner and I love cycling, preferably on my 19-year-old Dutch bike 😊.
I have never done a bike tour like this before and therefore see it as a sporting challenge. Of course, I will prepare myself intensively until the tour so that I can ride as many kilometres as possible.
I think this fundraising tour is great because I’m promoting my health, but mainly because I want to use the donations to help local people.
I have supported the small relief action almost from the beginning and was already in Cambodia in 2013 and 2016 for relief projects with the small relief action. Both tours moved and shaped me very much. The country and its people inspired me and I am now looking forward to getting to know Laos.
Knowing that the donations will reach exactly where they are needed most, I am happy about every km sponsor who helps me to support emergency projects in Asia and the orphanage in Ukraine.
