Donation goal of the tour

Laos has managed to get into the hearts of every single fundrider. The pilot tour in Feb 2019 was exclusively for Fundriders who had already completed the Cambodia tour, as we didn’t know how the new tour would affect the participants. Now we know: everyone is very enthusiastic about this warm and beautiful developing country.

The Kleine Hilfsaktion e.V. will extend its sphere of activity in south east Asia to Laos. During the Pilot-Tour 2019 the Fundriding-Initiative has already set up a great, meaningful and sustainable project. The Fundriders fundraised the considerable donation sum of 39,000, – through their commitment. Part of this donation has already been used directly in Laos in a joint project in which all fundriders were actively involved in. The project description can be found here. The rest of the donations were paid directly into the new emergency fund of the Kleine Hilfsaktion. With this money every year countless emergency projects are financed, operations, project eyesight, handicapped help or “only” lives are saved. At this point, THANK YOU again to all fundriders and of course all sponsors!

In Feb 2020 we will ride our second Fundriding tour on 110ccm large scooters in the north of Laos. Again 12 to 14 participants will accompany us. As with every fundriding tour, we ride for at least one project in the developing country concerned. The “kleine Hilfsaktion e.V.” has already equipped 23 schools in Cambodia with a so-called WASH. More information here. At many schools in Laos, especially in remote rural areas, there is a lack of clean drinking water, sanitary facilities and knowledge about the basics of (water) hygiene and/or waste avoidance. The kHA e.V. wants to equip the first school in Laos with a WASH in 2020. Many hundreds of children will benefit from our fundriding tour and we may save many children’s lives with this initiative. A WASH in a school helps many generations of pupils and the basic knowledge in water hygiene will also help the families in the background, especially the babies by preventing the often life-threatening Diarroe.

So, combine direct development aid with your enjoyment of travelling and your curiosity to experience something off the beaten track. Benefit from our 30 years of South East Asia experience. We will show you Laos from a side that you can neither book anywhere nor set up yourself. Come home with the indescribable feeling that this unique experience has saved human lives at the same time. Treat yourself to this social kind of adventure.

True to the motto of the Kleine Hilfsaktion: don’t talk – do!
